Vlada Roslyakova, Vogue China 2007
I have chosen to use these images of Vlada Roslyakova from a spread in Vogue China, because I really like the use of symbolic references that is in these photographs. This series of pictures are called 'the queen of the renaissance' and they remind me of the coronation portrait of queen Elizabeth. There is some strong religious annotations as she is seen kneeling at an altar. This reminds me of the religious views of queen Elizabeth as she supported the new world and a protestant views. I also really like the skin how is looks so fresh and youthful.
