Final Evaluation
During this unit it came to my attention that sometimes my ideas were too broad and that I sometimes couldn't reference all my ideas as Elizabethan, I overcame this problem by creating my back story of Elizabeth Brydges and breaking down the different attributes of her character and referencing them to portraiture, films, catwalks and also fashion editorials and by looking at all of these different things I developed my research. Along with looking and primary and secondary sources I practiced with new techniques to see which way would be the most effective for my design. I really enjoyed working to this brief because I feel like I got just the right amount of freedom and could totally interpreted the brief in the way I wanted to, however I would have liked to create and apply my own design, this is something that I would have done if I had more time. I do feel like this brief has given me a good understanding of what it is like working in industry and that has been a really thought provoking experience.
