Review of my Designer

 

As a whole Jennifer was a really good designer to work with, the things that she did well was she was really patient with me as a makeup artist and was not at all critical of my work but at the same time she wasn't afraid to speak up when she wanted something done differently or corrected, this made me feel secure as a makeup artist as she was actively voicing what she thought could be improved, which helped me a lot in creating her new Elizabethan. The only thing that I think could have been improved is the speed on creating her design, I received her design on Monday when my timed assessment was on Thursday, this made me panic as when I first created the design it was not up to standard and I was hoping it wasn't going to be the same on the day of my timed assessment, this could have been improved with better time management, but I do believe I did well against these odds and created a design that fit her brief sufficiently. If I was less confident with my skills I would have asked my designer to meet up with me for a second practice but I was relatively confident enough after playing with the design on myself. Overall Jennifer was a really good, there was only minor improvements that I could think of, she communicated well and also wrote me out some fantastic detailed step by step notes about how to apply her design which really helped me.
